COSMETIC LABEL + CLAIMS REVIEW
Review it before you print it.
Your packaging may be beautiful, but does it include the right information? Are your ingredients listed correctly? Could your product claims create unintended regulatory concerns?
Our Cosmetic Label + Claims Review gives you an experienced second set of eyes before your packaging goes into production.
Submit the label and packaging artwork for one SKU, along with your product-page copy and marketing claims. We’ll review everything together to identify potential concerns, missing information and areas that may need clarification or correction.
WHAT WE’LL REVIEW
LABEL + PACKAGING ARTWORK
Review of your submitted label and packaging design for required information, ingredient presentation, formatting and potential cosmetic-labeling concerns.
PRODUCT CLAIMS
Review of the language used to describe your product, including claims that could unintentionally position a cosmetic as a drug.
PRODUCT-PAGE COPY
Review of your website product description and other submitted PDP copy for consistency with your packaging and intended cosmetic positioning.
WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE
For one SKU, you’ll receive:

REVIEWED BY EXPERIENCE
Your materials will be reviewed by Jamie Leto, toxicologist, cosmetic formulator and founder of J. Elle Innovations, a full-service cosmetic manufacturing and fulfillment facility specializing in clean beauty.
Jamie has helped brands move from concept through formulation, manufacturing and market launch, with products reaching retailers including Ulta Beauty, Sephora, Anthropologie and Erewhon. Her work requires a close and continually evolving understanding of FDA regulations, cosmetic labeling and product claims.
Because discovering a label problem before printing is far easier than discovering it after 5,000 boxes arrive.
This service provides an educational review of submitted cosmetic labels, packaging and marketing materials. It does not constitute legal advice, FDA approval, safety certification or a guarantee of regulatory compliance. The brand remains responsible for its final artwork, claims and regulatory obligations.
